Our Hearts, Our Goodness

Ppl spend their whole lives building these intricate sandcastles. Only to let that one wrong person come and blow it away. U can give someone your whole heart. And within an instant, they take it from you, pretend to love it, play with it like a toy, then decide one day they don’t even want it anymore. They don’t know how to return the love you’ve shown and give your heart back to you, so they run away with it. far away. All the while you are dying, barely breathing and sleeping because you’ve lost your heart. Then when u do find it along the dirt road the person you gave it to dropped it on, you see it just layin there shattered in pieces. Now youre left to mend it back together all by yourself. Moral of the story: This is why before giving anyone ANYthing, esp our hearts..we have to make sure they are worthy of receiving. Bc our hearts are a gift. Not only to us, but to the world.
